Purply Purples

Soooo today decided to try something kinda sorta purply-yes I just said purply or is it typed purply ,you know what I mean.
So back to it,the usual foundation yada yada no need to get into all that. I did apply primer on my whole eye because this particular one (Lise Watier) actually makes the colour pop out more but you can skip it.
I used a pink that actually looks lilacy when I apply it,I got no clue who its by it was a gift set from a friend but like I always say you can use any other lilac or purple you got.
I applied the mentioned eye shadow all over my eyelid, not all the way to my eye brows but as shown below, and I blended it so as not to have very harsh lines(you'll see what I mean in the pics) then I applied the darker purple- its by mac with a weird name-shown below. I found that it wasn't dark enough for the effect I wanted so I added a bit of black eyeshadow on the outer most part of my lid, blending it in.

I then applied a highlighter below my lids,I used one from a palette I bought from walmart I think.I have abused this palette dropped it a few times that's why it looks like its seen better days. But anyway I used the second at on the bottom row.
After this you basically done,do the usual eyebrow brushing or fill in and add some mascara and you done.

Subtle blue's n gold

Yesterday my plan was to achieve a not so loud look for work. I used a gold  cream base that I applied on the whole of my eye as shown below, prior to doing so I had applied my foundation .
Then I applied my blue (Its Mac with a weird name am not gonna get into point is its blue and you can use any blue you got) Anyway I always apply my blue on the outer part of my eye lid.
Rather than use a black pencil to line my eyes I decided to use a navy blue pencil and of course I applied my mascara and I always apply my foundation after-weird but that's just what I do.
As for my eyebrows, I just fill them in with a pencil, but you don't have to. And I don't always fill them in but I decided to for this look.
As for my hair i decided to add a head tie( one of those granny one's I got from a thrift store) My hair was cornrowed to the front and the tie went around the huge corn row but you could tie as you please..so yeah if you decided to try the look let me know how it works out.

Past looks

Was going through some pictures of looks that I did a while ago and like. Let me know what you think.
I have a habit of taking pics of looks that I see in magazines that I may want to try so I've included those as well.
